Your Role as a QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the products developed by Justlife’s engineering team meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify bugs, and implement solutions that guarantee a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with test automation engineers to enhance test coverage.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Report, track, and resolve bugs in a timely manner.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure stability post-updates.
• Analyze and communicate test results to improve processes.
• Validate backend functionalities, especially in PHP and Java environments.
• Document testing processes and ensure accuracy.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend effective solutions.
• Support team members in understanding and implementing QA practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in manual software testing; familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium or JUnit is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate coding knowledge in PHP, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in English, excellent organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Work Style: Experience in agile, fast-paced environments, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
